Shed lads been away the last few days visiting beautiful historical cobh in country Cork.
Fota island, the titanic bar, few pubs , leonardos cafe and a visit to Spike island all packed into a couole of days. Weather was fantastic, our apartment was ideal.Train down and back was a lot fun, met a lovely American family on the train back, their lives will never be the same after spending 2 and a half hours with us๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒThe craic was great. Thanks to everyone we came across in cobh from the apartment host to the restaurant staff to the spike island guides, they made us all feel very welcome.
Hopefully we can arrange another trip with more of our lads in the summer ahead.

A great end to the week in the shed. Another birthday, this time christy, our eldest member who still has more energy than some of us 20 years younger than him.

And we also done a bit of filming today for a documentary about the courts in loughlinstown.
Big shout to Luke and the crew for spending the day with us.

A brilliant unexpected day for us today, we were asked to go in to customs house and do a photoshoot for the upcoming bealtaine festival. Great fun with the staff and photographer. We were then told to get up to Dublin Castle where we were given a free guided tour, fantastic bit of history there. Finally a quick trip down to trinity college where we had a lovely very decent priced bit of food before heading home.
Thanks to Ben from the Irish Men's Sheds Association , Therese and everyone at Bealtaine and to the OPW at customs house and dublin castle for looking after us today
