This is not a joke… our Comic Relief manual is now available in English! 💛📖
“This Is Not a Joke: Humour-Based Practices for Youth, Wellbeing and Social Connection” is now uploaded in the Resources section of our website.
Created through the Erasmus+ Comic Relief project, the manual offers youth workers, educators and professionals working with young people practical activities and humour-based approaches to support mental health and wellbeing.

Next week, we will travel to Greece for the Comic Relief International Training This Is Not a Joke!🇬🇷✨

From 6–8 October, youth workers and professionals from across Europe will come together in Athens and Aegina Island to explore how humour, creativity and play can support young people’s mental health and wellbeing.

Over three days, we will share ideas and practical methods through theatre, clowning, storytelling, visual arts, relational play and stand-up comedy techniques. It will be a space to learn by doing, connect with partners, and reflect on how we can use these tools safely in our everyday work with young people.

We’re looking forward to meeting everyone!

Yesterday, Redial and Arteteka organised the final event of the Comic Relief project at the Avalon Centre in Sligo, together with the wonderful Aremoja Women’s Group. 💛

It was such a lovely way to bring the project to an end. We shared some of the project results, looked back at the activities and moments we created together, and enjoyed a few fun and creative activities with everyone who joined us.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and made the day so special, and especially to the amazing women from Aremoja for their warmth, openness and lovely energy. We had a great time! ✨

On Sunday, we brought families together for Roots & Routes, a playful afternoon exploring identity, migration and belonging.

Through games about family roots, familiar smells, food and the things we would pack in an “identity suitcase,” young people and parents shared stories and discovered new things about one another. It was a lovely reminder that conversations about culture and belonging can start with the everyday things that feel like home.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to the Youth Council of Ireland’s Seed Fund for supporting the activity. 🌍

🌍 Roots & Routes: Parents vs Kids Challenge!
This weekend, join us at our office for a fun and creative afternoon exploring family stories, identity, belonging and the journeys that connect us.
Through games, conversation and creative activities, parents and young people will have the chance to learn more about each other’s roots and routes — from Ireland to Italy and beyond. Together, we’ll explore what makes us who we are, the places we call home, and how our personal stories connect to the wider world.

🎉 Join us for the final event of the Comic Relief Erasmus+ Project!
We’re excited to invite you to our final project event on 2 October at 6:00 PM at the Avalon Centre in Sligo.
During the evening, we will share the project’s results and explore some of the fun, creative activities and workshops developed throughout the project. Expect a relaxed atmosphere, opportunities to meet new people, and plenty of laughter!

Hallo aus Wien! 🇦🇹 This week we're in Vienna for the 2nd TPM of MenHealth - Empowering Men's Health & Well-being, hosted by our partner MEN at Zentrum 10.

Two days of work on our 5 online learning courses: physical health, risk-taking & health-seeking behaviour, mental health & stress, work-life balance, and stereotypes, plus interactive videos, real men's life stories, and our "Responsible for my health" digital badge.

Five countries, one goal: making it normal for men to take care of their health. 💙
