🇷🇸 A NEW TUNE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNG PEOPLE IS HERE! 🎉

This summer, Palić, Serbia, will bring together young people from across the region through the TUNE International Training, taking place from 30 June to 5 July 2026.

✨ Over five days, participants will have the opportunity to meet peers from different countries, develop new skills, exchange ideas, and design activities that they will later implement in their local communities. The training is aimed at motivated young people who want to make a difference and remain actively involved in the TUNE Network.

🩺 Did you know that men live on average 5.2 years less than women, yet most men think they're perfectly healthy?

That's exactly the gap the MenHealth - Empowering Men's Health & Well-being project is addressing. We're kicking off our series of resources with Topic 1: Men's Physical Health and the numbers might surprise you.

71% of men in the EU rate their health as good, compared to 65% of women. Yet women outlive men by over 5 years on average. Men are also twice as likely to die from non-communicable diseases like cardiovascular disease, cancer, and diabetes before the age of 70, and in 2018, men visited the doctor 27% less than women.

Feeling healthy and actually being healthy are not the same thing.

The good news? Something as simple as 150 minutes of physical activity per week could prevent millions of new disease cases by 2050, and save the EU up to €8 billion in healthcare costs.

Last week, the MenHealth - Empowering Men's Health & Well-being partners gathered online for our May meeting to review progress across the project.

We discussed the finalisation of interactive readings on men's health, reviewed life stories developed through storytelling, and worked on the upcoming digitally reinforced training course for men-learners. The team also caught up on dissemination activities including website translations, the project leaflet, and social media, and started preparing documents for the interim financial report. We're also looking forward to our upcoming partnership meeting in Vienna! 🇦🇹

Tomorrow is the big day !

After several days of workshops, rehearsals, and creative collaboration in Berlin and at home, the participants of the Youth Exchange of the Erasmus+ Project Pirouette II are ready to share the performances they have been working on.

Through theatre, dance, music, storytelling and visual art, the young artists will present original pieces inspired by their personal experiences, memories, and reflections on identity.

Day 2 of the Pirouette II Youth Exchange in Berlin! 🇩🇪

As the week goes on, the connections between participants are growing stronger. What began with simple introductions is quickly turning into genuine friendships and artistic collaboration between young artists from across Europe.

Today, we returned to our creative base for the week, located right next to the Spree. The unique atmosphere of this vibrant cultural space continues to inspire participants as they work, exchange ideas, and discover more of Berlin’s creative energy.

Throughout the day, the groups focused on rehearsing and refining their final performances. With their pieces already developed, participants are now fine-tuning every detail and preparing for Thursday evening, when each group will present its work to the rest of the participants and invited guests.

Another inspiring day filled with creativity, collaboration, and new discoveries. We are looking forward to Thursday evening and to seeing all of the performances come to life on stage!
