A park for everybody
This wonderful Pocket Park grew from a simple idea by a neighbbour, into a real local park used by families, local workers, neighbours and visitors. It is maintained by friends and neighbours as and when they see the need. The park is made for everyone and belongs to everyone.
This page is managed by a tiny group of locals who want the park to continue and thrive. We're busy applying for grants to maintain and develop the park and desperately looking for volunteers to help us do small jobs like paint the benches, restore the wooden horse, w**d the beds and replace dying or dead plants. We’d also love to hear from local businesses who could support the park and its community in any way.
We don't have a monopoly on the park and we're more than happy to work with you to do whatever you think the park needs.
