🔥 Huge Achievement for Diving Ireland! 🔥

Yesterday marked a major milestone in our training calendar, as the final practical assessments for the Mon 1 programme took place across Dublin, Cork, and Donegal.

We are incredibly proud to welcome 12 new Moniteur 1 instructors and 3 new Moniteur 2 instructors into the Diving Ireland community 🎉

This is no small achievement. Reaching this level reflects a huge commitment, skill, and dedication from every candidate involved.

These new instructors will play a vital role in growing our clubs, supporting members, and ensuring the highest standards of training and safety across all disciplines. Their impact will be felt right across the country for years to come.

A massive congratulations to everyone who took part, and a big thank you to all assessors, organisers, and volunteers who made it happen.

A fantastic achievement for Diving Ireland! 👏

Congratulations to our two newest Sport Ireland Course Developer Assessors, who graduated last Friday in University of Limerick.

Coach Developer Assessors play a key role in sport development. They support and assess the next generation of coach and instructor developers within National Governing Bodies, helping ensure courses are delivered to the highest standards and that coaches across the country receive high-quality education and support.

Having qualified assessors within Diving Ireland strengthens our training pathway and helps us continue developing skilled instructors and coaches across the diving community.

Well done to both graduates on this excellent achievement and for contributing to the future of diving education in Ireland! 🌊

We had a brilliant day running the snorkel instructor course. With the theory taking place in DCU and practical in Skerries, welcoming seven new Snorkel Instructors to the Diving Ireland community.

These newly qualified instructors will play a vital role in introducing more people to the underwater world, helping clubs deliver safe, structured snorkelling experiences and grow participation across the region.

A huge well done to all the candidates for their hard work and commitment, and thanks to the instructors and organisers who made the day possible.
