Small things to one person can mean huge things to someone else.
A bin on a footpath. A sign in the wrong place. An obstacle that turns a normal journey into a difficult one. For people with low or no vision, everyday environments can become harder to navigate when accessibility is not considered.
A little more awareness can make a big difference.
[Image description: A clean, white Féach advocacy graphic with the Féach logo in the top left. In the centre are two side-by-side photos showing everyday accessibility barriers on a street: on the left, a large green wheelie bin sits partly on the pavement and partly along the curb, narrowing the walking space; on the right, a tall roadside signboard with a chalkboard display stands on the pavement and reduces clear passage. Beneath the photos, bold dark text reads, “Small things to you, can mean huge things to someone on their way to work, school, or shopping.” A smaller line underneath adds, “Let’s take a moment to consider our actions before parking, placing our bins outside, and adding extra signage.” The layout is simple and poster-like, with a strong message about how small obstacles can create major barriers for people with low or no vision.]
