We are proud to welcome Dr Kieran Daly to the EPSOS 22nd Annual Meeting in Dublin 🇮🇪

Based in Dublin, Dr Daly leads a technology-driven orthodontic practice within an interdisciplinary clinical setting. He provides a wide range of treatments, supported by a highly developed in-house lab and advanced digital workflows, particularly in the fabrication of skeletal anchorage appliances.

Alongside clinical practice, he mentors postgraduate orthodontic students from Trinity College Dublin. He is also the only Irish orthodontist accredited by both the European Board of Orthodontics and the Angle Society of Europe.

We are delighted to announce Prof. Dr. Dirk Wiechmann as one of our distinguished speakers at the EPSOS 22nd Annual Meeting in Dublin 🇮🇪

An internationally renowned expert in lingual orthodontics, Prof. Wiechmann has been a specialist in orthodontics since 1997 and leads one of the largest lingual practices worldwide in Bad Essen, Germany. He is Professor of Orthodontics at Hannover Medical School and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Bern, with numerous scientific awards to his name, including the EOS Distinguished Teacher Award.

His research and clinical focus on lingual orthodontics have shaped modern orthodontic practice across Europe and beyond.

EPSOS is proud to announce the Moschos A. Papadopoulos Master Thesis Award, organised in collaboration with the Orthodontic Society of Northern Greece (OSNG).

This award honours Professor Moschos A. Papadopoulos and recognises outstanding academic excellence in orthodontic research among EPSOS members.

Entry requirements:
✔️ Applicant must be an EPSOS member in good standing
✔️ Master’s thesis must have been defended within the last two years prior to the respective EPSOS Meeting
✔️ The same thesis cannot be submitted for both the OSNG and GOS awards
✔️ The winner will present their thesis at the EPSOS 22nd Annual Meeting, Dublin, Ireland – Sunday, June 7th, 2026

Prize:
💶 €500 cash award

This award recognises high-quality, practical clinical pearls related to the use of temporary anchorage devices (TADs) in orthodontic cases completed during postgraduate training.

EPSOS is pleased to invite applications for the Athanasios E. Athanasiou Student Research Award, offered jointly with the Greek Orthodontic Society (GOS) and presented for the third consecutive year at the 22nd EPSOS Meeting, to be held in Dublin on 07 June 2026.

🏆 Calling all postgraduate orthodontic researchers:
If you are engaged in high-quality, original research, this award offers a valuable platform to gain recognition and share your work with the international orthodontic community.

Founded in 2024, this award commemorates Professor Athanasios E. Athanasiou, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to orthodontic education, scholarship, and scientific advancement.

Eligibility criteria:

✔️ Current postgraduate orthodontic students or graduates within the last 12 months
✔️ Submission must be original, unpublished, and clearly related to orthodontics
✔️ One submission per institution
✔️ Research submitted must not be entered for both the GOS and OSNG awards

Award includes:

💶 €500 monetary prize
