They have arrived!

If you or a friend have wanted a one-stop shop for information and a brief rundown on what is happening in Sudan, this is it!

We will be distributing these brochures at the GPO on some given Saturdays, near the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign’s stall (IPSC). If you would like a bunch to distribute yourself as an individual or group please reach out! 🙏 We are more than happy to have these in as many places as possible! 💯

ISSC interviews Dr. Rania Ahmed, president of SDUI. 🎤📹

It was a pleasure to talk to Dr. Rania Ahmed, president of the Sudanese Doctors Union of Ireland at their 6th Annual Symposium, “From Surviving to Thriving.”

We asked Dr. Rania:
• Was there much support for Sudanese doctors new to Ireland when you moved here?
• Are there more supports now?
• Have new methods come to the field from this symposium?
• Where will SDUI follow from here?

We encourage anyone who is looking for professional or career advice coming from Sudan or who is new to Ireland, to get in touch with SDUI. They can provide support and guidance for the road ahead. 🛣️🤝

We had the pleasure of attending the Sudanese Doctors Union Ireland (SDUI) 6th Annual Symposium: “From Survival to Thriving” last weekend. With almost 200 people present, the energy all day was amazing. 💪🇸🇩

This one-day event brought together medical professionals from a range of fields. Speakers discussed the effects of the war on doctors, presented research and spoke on how best to support Sudanese doctors new to Ireland. 🫂🇮🇪

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to SDUI for their advocacy and hard work. This was their biggest turnout for an event yet, and we are thrilled to have witnessed the incredible amount of support firsthand. God bless you all! 🌺🍀

URGENT: Ireland must act now to stop the war in Sudan. 🇸🇩

This Thursday, 18th December, Noreldaim from Ireland Sudan Solidarity Collective (ISSC) handed over our urgent letter to TDs Sean Crowe and Patricia Stephenson in front of the Dáil, calling for it to be raised in government.

Over 12 million people displaced. 200,000+ lives lost. 30 million need aid.

We demand that the Irish Cabinet implement 9 critical steps—from funding grassroots responders and backing UN investigations to designating the RSF as a terrorist organisation and holding the UAE accountable.

Ireland must help demand accountability, support an inclusive peace, and save lives.

🚨 TWO DAYS TO GO 🚨

With only two days left until our demo at LEINSTER HOUSE THIS THURSDAY AT 5:30PM we are amping up the volume even more.

All week we have been campaigning to get as many emails sent out to the Dáil as possible. We are demanding they take action on 11 measures for justice and peace. Find the QR code in our previous post, on in the first link in our bio.

We must raise our voices and demand that tangible steps are taken for Sudanese folks in Sudan and the diaspora. This cannot continue as innocent lives are lost.
