Bloomfield Mental Health Services is a charity providing treatment, care, and support to adults with severe and enduring mental health needs, with specialist services for Huntington's Disease. Bloomfield was originially established as a hospital in Donnybrook in 1812, and moved to its current, state-of-the-art location in 2005. Bloomfield Mental Health Services provides inpatient treatment, care,
and support for people with serious and enduring mental health needs (including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and psychosis), and is a specialist provider of treatment for Huntington's Disease, a rare, inherited disorder that affects the mind and body. Bloomfield is registered as an approved centre with the Mental Health Commission and referrals are accepted nationally. We are committed to providing excellence both in clinical treatment and care to patients and their families, and in training healthcare professionals and conducting clinical research.
