It's a historic day for animals in Canada. Ontario has officially banned invasive medical research on dogs and cats.

Ontario has officially passed Bill 75, becoming the first province in Canada to ban invasive medical research on dogs and cats. The new law also prohibits the breeding of cats and dogs for research purposes in the province.
