The O'Connell Musical Society Musical Theatre Group

We are mostly well known for our annual panto staged every January in St Brigids NBS in Killester, and have also staged many successful musicals around the North Dublin area and most recently we have been getting back into the staging of dramatic plays.

Hailey Rose Lynch ~ Musical Director 🎶🎤🩵

Hailey-Rose Lynch is an Irish operatic soprano, musical director, director and singing teacher. She holds First Class Honours degrees in Vocal Performance from the Royal Irish Academy of Music/Trinity College Dublin and a Master’s degree from TU Dublin Conservatory of Music and Drama.

A regular performer with Irish National Opera since 2016, Hailey-Rose has performed in productions including Carmen, La Bohème, Madama Butterfly and Tosca, alongside numerous operatic and musical theatre roles.

With over nine years’ experience as a singing and music teacher, Hailey-Rose is passionate about nurturing young performers and helping students develop confidence, technique and a love of performance. Her students have gone on to perform in shows across Dublin, feature in television commercials, train in the West End, and achieve success at both the SDTI Feis and Feis Ceoil.

Hailey-Rose has directed productions including Aladdin, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland and Annie, and has worked as Musical Director on The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Alice in Wonderland.

Having performed as Snow White in O’Connell’s Musical Society’s 2025 pantomime, Hailey-Rose is delighted to return to OCMS from the other side of the stage as Musical Director and can’t wait to bring this year’s production to life!🩵

Enya Murphy ~ Choreographer 💃🏼🪩🧑‍🩰

Enya has been performing since the age of 3 on stages all over Dublin from the Helix to the Bord Gais Theatre. She’s performed in various productions from Variety shows to Musicals, Dance competitions to corporate gigs.

Enya started teaching at the age of 16 as an assistant alongside amazing teachers and choreographers who have showed her many things over the years and is very grateful for the opportunity to work with them. In 2022, she started working on her own teaching in Stage Schools, Secondary and Primary Schools across Dublin. She joined the O’Connell team three years ago when she auditioned for the cast and had a ball over the Christmas season with all of the O’Connells Family🫶🏽

Not only is Enya back this year as our choreographer but she is also apart of the committee once again. She is looking forward to showing you all to what ideas we have for the society this year. She can’t wait to see everybody for rehearsals soon🩵
