It’s a brand new year and we’re back and better than ever! Our role as a society is to create a space for students, gay, straight or however you identify, to have some fun and make new friends. Some of the events we have planned for this year include a Mock Wedding, a Mock Marriage=Equality Referendum and Nights out in various pubs & clubs. Remember, we don’t mind what letter of the alphabet you u
se to identity yourself (SLGBTQIA etc), or whether you are a full-time or part-time student. All we require is that you’re up for some fun! We’re also here to promote awareness, improve social acceptance and integration of the LGBT+ community throughout the college. In order to achieve this goal, we invite everybody to sign up and be a part of the society. If you’re a bit nervous about joining or don’t know anyone in the society, one of our officers can arrange to meet you beforehand. Email us at [email protected] and let us know.
