Since joining V‑SAC in 2016, Dympna Kenny has grown from Office Manager to General Manager, and in 2025, to Chief Executive Officer.

She now leads the organisation’s national strategy and day‑to‑day operations, ensuring victims and witnesses receive compassionate, trauma‑informed support throughout their court journey.

With a strong background in financial services and a degree in Business Management, she continues to drive innovation, organisational development, and excellence in service delivery.

We had a great coffee morning here in the V-SAC Cork office to mark European Day for Victims of Crime.

Very grateful for all the support and attendance (on such a wet day) from our Victim Support at Court (V-SAC) volunteers, other victim-focused services, court users and staff from Courts Service, An Garda Siochána and others.

Until next year… ☕️

Did you know that support is available for anyone attending criminal court as a victim or witness — no matter where you live?

At V‑SAC, we know that some communities may feel overlooked or unsure if court support is “for them.” We want to change that.

We’re inviting community groups, local organisations, cultural associations, youth groups, and grassroots networks to consider welcoming us to speak at your events.

Our goal is simple: to make sure every person in every community knows they are not alone when facing the court process.

If your group would like to learn more about:

- what support looks like in the criminal court,
- how we assist victims and witnesses, or
- how to access our services,

we’d be honoured to come to you.

Reach out to us - let’s make sure support reaches every corner of our communities.

Community isn’t complete unless everyone feels included.

We stand with the Travelling Community - celebrating culture, challenging stigma, and offering support when it’s needed most.

If you’re attending court and want someone by your side, our volunteers are here to help.
