As secretariat to the All Party Oireachtas Interest Group on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, the IFPA was proud to support a meeting in Leinster House this week with an international delegation of leading sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) organisations.

Ms Nelly Munyasia, Executive Director of Reproductive Health Network Kenya, and Dr Kalpana Apte, Director General of Family Planning Association India, shared their perspectives on the challenges facing the advancement and protection of SRHR, and the delivery of services, globally.

Evidence-based SRHR policy matters. When legislators learn from expert voices and international experience, decisions are informed by facts and grounded in the lived realities of those delivering rights-based healthcare in challenging contexts.

The resulting policies save lives, protect dignity and strengthen access to care for all.
