What a great day at our Aquathon 2026! Participants have been training over the past few months for this combined walking/running and swimming event, and they did exceptionally well on the day.

Days like this don’t just happen, so a big thank you to our Sports & Leisure Team, staff and families who supported everyone throughout the training.

Thank you also to our Mastercard volunteers for their support, Baxter Storey for the gorgeous BBQ, and Swim Ireland for the goodie bags, medals and support on the day.

And finally, well done to all of our athletes. You put in the training, took on the challenge and did yourselves proud! 👏🏅

Reporting to the CEO, this senior leadership role will lead our finance function and provide strategic financial advice across an St. Michael's House

The role offers an exciting opportunity to lead financial strategy, governance and reporting, while supporting the organisation through the implementation of SAP S/4HANA as part of the HSE Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS).

We are seeking a qualified accountant with substantial senior financial management experience, ideally in health, social care or another complex service environment.

💶 Salary: €87,471 – €108,804

💙Celebrating Our Meals on Wheels Volunteers 💙

Thank you to Paul, Gerry, Noel, Darren, Riaz, Damien and Bernie from our Templeogue Day Services.

Twice a week, they join the Meals on Wheels teams to deliver meals to older people in their local community and were recently invited to Ballyroan Community Centre as a thank you for the time, effort and support they give to the community.

Volunteering is a great way to connect with others, contribute to your local community and make a difference. We are very proud of the work the group does and the commitment they show every week.

A great end-of-summer day out for everyone at Abhainn, Edenmore! 🌳☀️

Last week, the group enjoyed a trip to Avondale Beyond the Trees for a walk through the forest. They made their way to the top of the treetop walkway and then enjoyed the slide back down (definitely the best way to finish the day)!

The Santry Hall Summer Programme continued with a visit from a magician, and it was a big hit with Team Santry Hall! 🪄

It was a great opportunity to enjoy something different, share a few laughs and experience a few magic trips and surprises along the way! 🎩

St Michael’s House and St Michael’s House Foundation were delighted to welcome the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Daryl Barron, to Raheny Hub this morning.

The Lord Mayor met with the young adults who attend the Hub and our staff, enjoyed a tour of the day service and took the opportunity to chat with the team about the work taking place there.

Our CEO, Tara Molloy, welcomed the opportunity to introduce the Lord Mayor to Raheny Hub and highlight the community-based, person-centred supports provided by St Michael’s House to more than 2,000 children and adults across the greater Dublin area.

The visit also provided an opportunity for positive discussion around the challenges facing people with disabilities, particularly the need for suitable residential and housing options for people supported by disability services.

Our fundraising partners, were also delighted to share their work and the impact of fundraising in supporting services across St Michael’s House 💙

Thank you to the Lord Mayor and his team for taking the time to visit us. We look forward to welcoming you back to St Michael’s House soon.

🌊 Caislean hits the high seas 🌊

Eileen, who attends Caislean, set herself a personal goal to take a boat trip in 2026. With support from her keyworker, staff and friends, she planned a day trip to Holyhead with her friends and was delighted to make it happen.

The Caislean team had a fantastic day and Eileen was delighted to celebrate the achievement of a goal that was important to her.
