Clondalkin Animal Aid

Clondalkin Animal Aid Clondalkin Animal Aid is a non-profit organisation whose volunteers assist animals in need We aim to find them a new home if their owners can’t be located.

We take in dogs, cats and other small animals that are found straying and try to find their owners. We also take in pets that are surrendered by their families and sometimes ones that come from horrific circumstances. If you are interested in adopting please click the link below and complete an adoption application form. One of our volunteers will be in contact as soon as they can. https://docs.g

How you can help...

Fostering – Clondalkin Animal Aid has no premises and everyone involved works on a voluntary basis; all dogs in our care are in foster homes or boarding kennels and we are always looking for people to foster dogs until they have found their permanent home, especially since the number of dogs in our care is rising since the recession. The charity will provide food and bedding, and pay for vet bills etc. Fostering can be a very enjoyable and rewarding experience and we will always be on hand with advice and support. If you are interested in fostering please click the link below and complete a foster application form. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1pSWONIFPmVlWYHJnRzJjHaYFJwwPZ1vFuXzJ7ph6JKs

Donations- We are heavily dependent on donations from the public to help our dogs and particularly with boarding and medical bills. We frequently take sick and injured dogs to the vets for treatment. Being volunteers and having no premises, we rely on a network of foster homes and boarding kennels to help our dogs. A small donation or a standing order of even €5 a month would mean the world to us and would really help a dog in need. Please contact us for bank/revolut details or click on the link below to donate via paypal

Transport – There are often times when we need transport for dogs to and from foster homes/vets/kennels; if you would like to help, please call Claire on 086 314 8647 or email us at [email protected]. Fundraising- If you would like to help us with or you have ideas for fundraising initiatives please let us know. We will help in any way we can by providing marketing collateral, or attending and speaking at the event accompanied by a few of our lovely dogs.

This lovely 12-year-old cat (turning 13 in September) is a gentle soul looking for her forever home. She’s had two previous owners, with her last home for two years. While she may be shy at first, with patience and love, she blossoms into a sweet, cuddly companion. Dervie would thrive in a calm and stable home where she can feel safe and loved—no big changes, just plenty of care and affection.
