The UCD LGBTQ+ Society is a social group that aims to provide a relaxed environment for people, including but by no means limited to those who identify as le***an, gay, bisexual and/or transgender. We encourage anyone in UCD to join what is one of the most active and successful societies on campus. Through a wide range of events, services and campaigns we aim to offer every member of our society the opportunity to enjoy themselves, to learn and understand more about the LGBTQ+ community, and to be there to support anyone who may need it. Adjusting to college life can be difficult for any student, but when a student is also struggling with accepting or disclosing their sexual or gender identity, college can become more complicated and challenging. Many of us in the LGBTQ+ society know, and understand, how this feels and so can offer help, advice, and support. The society welcomes everyone regardless of sexual orientation, which also includes straight. Straight members are just as welcome as those who identify as LGBTQ+. They have been some of the best contributors and supporters of our society over the years. Our society also practices a strict Safer Space Policy and as a result all photos/videos posted to this page are taken with the explicit permission of those in them. We also don't tag any photos though we do allow members to tag themselves if they are comfortable to do so. We ask that you do not tag anyone other than yourself in photos and, if you are uncomfortable with a photo of yourself being on this, or any other social media account, you contact a member of our committee straight away, or send a message to this page.

🐬 Welcome to Week 3! 🐬

It's Bisexual Week, and after all the rush of Freshers Week we think it's high time for some good wholesome relaxing activities. To that end, we bring you three wonderful (and very zen) events!

First we have a discussion in the Fitzgerald chamber from 1 to 3 pm on Tuesday. This is a space to talk about bisexuality and hopefully make some friends along the way :)

On Thursday morning from 9 to 11 in Harmony Studio we have a coffee morning with a twist - word games! Come have a cup of coffee (or tea!) and flex your wordsmithing skills 💪

Finally, on Friday from 1-3pm, we're running a bracelet making workshop in Harmony Studio. Learn the ancient craft of medieval fingerloop braiding with us! Bi flag coloured bracelets are not mandatory, but encouraged ;)

✨ It’s time to do it all again~! ✨

Welcome to Welcome Back Week, where we’ll be welcoming you back with a lovely little afternoon of free coffee, tea, biscuits, and just a little bit of love.

You’ve all been missed dearly, even if you’re brand new to UCD. (Congratulations on those leaving certs and CAO’s by the way.)

Have a lovely evening, and we hope to see as many of you as we can tomorrow.

Sul sul, dear friends 🏳️‍🌈🙂‍↕️

As the year is coming to an end, unfortunately, so are the activities of our society. Devastating, truly. I fear the onset of the Big Sad is imminent. Oh, how shall we cope...
*sighs, regaining composure *
Why, with mindfulness, of course! We have but two events to finish off this Gratifying and Amazing Year 🫡🏳️‍🌈
☕ LATTES & LABELS are ending their tour on MONDAY, and
🎲 GAYMES are having their final match on TUESDAY! YES YES, FINAL!!!

And now, a few last words... It has been an absolute honor hosting this society’s weekly events program, and we are all incredibly thankful for everyone who had attended. Spreading q***r joy was the highlight of my year, and I hope that I’ll linger in your thoughts for at least a little while longer. 🫡

Signing off, but not disappearing entirely,
The Figure (to be continued...)

Oh hello there, dear members 🏳️‍🌈😏

Hope you've been enjoying your Easter holidays and the short, much-needed break from class. Our schedule, however, has not been enjoying any breaks, because we are BACK with a full set of events for GAY WEEK!!! 🫰🏻

🎲 GAYMES are back yet again on TUESDAY,
