Yet, too many LGBTIQ+ people still face violence and are held back by discrimination. That’s why we are stepping up our efforts with a new LGBTIQ+ Equality Strategy to:

🔹 Strengthen protections ag*inst hate-motivated violence
🔹 Ban harmful conversion practices
🔹 Foster inclusion and equal rights across the EU

A better future starts with equality. Together, we can build a Union of Equality for everyone.

🇮🇪 Dublin Pride is one of the oldest Pride events in Europe. 🌈

What began as a small, courageous march has evolved into a vibrant celebration of visibility, community, and progress, attracting tens of thousands every June.

But Dublin Pride is more than a parade. It’s a powerful reminder that equality is ongoing work — in our communities, in our policies, and in our workplaces.

This Pride Month, let’s not only celebrate how far we’ve come but also reflect on how we can be more inclusive and better advocates. 🤝

Malas noticias para el colectivo LGBTQIA+. Desde el gobierno de la Comunitat Valenciana se ha propuesto que las terapias de conversión sean "voluntarias", una medida que choca frontalmente con la normativa estatal y las recomendaciones de las Naciones Unidas, que equiparan estas prácticas a la tortura.

Esto demuestra que todavía son necesarios proyectos como el nuestro, que luchan por la inclusión y los derechos de todas las personas, sin importar su orientación sexual o identidad de género.

La enmienda del grupo ultra a la normativa autonómica choca frontalmente con la estatal

🇮🇪 A Decade of Progress, 10 Years of Equality in Ireland 🌈

This month marks a powerful milestone for LGBTQIA+ rights in Ireland:

✔️ 💒 10 years since the Marriage Equality referendum, where Ireland became the first country in the world to legalise same-sex marriage by popular vote.
✔️ 🏳️‍⚧️ 10 years since the Gender Recognition Act, enabling trans people to have their gender legally recognised without medical intervention.
✔️ 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 10 years since the Children and Family Relationships Act, giving legal recognition to diverse families and protecting LGBTQIA+ parents and their children.

At MOB4ALL, as we look ahead, we honour these achievements and recommit to building a more inclusive, accessible Europe for all.

✨ Ayer celebramos con mucho entusiasmo la Final Conference del proyecto KA2 Mob4All en Valencia.

El evento tuvo lugar en las instalaciones de AIP Mobility Projects, Internship in Spain, Stage Spagna, Stage Espagne, reuniendo tanto a participantes presenciales como online.

Fue una jornada enriquecedora de intercambio de ideas, aprendizajes y colaboración internacional. 🌍🤝

✨ 19 de febrer: Dia contra la LGTBI-fòbia en l'Esport 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️⚽️🏀

El 19 de febrer es commemora el Dia contra la LGTBI-fòbia en l'Esport en honor a Justin Fashanu, el primer futbolista professional a declarar-se obertament g*i. La seua valentia li va costar el rebuig de la indústria i la pressió social, portant-lo a una tràgica mort en 1998. La seua història ens recorda que l'homofòbia, la transfòbia i la serofòbia segueixen presents en els estadis, equips i vestuaris.

A més, dins del col·lectiu LGTBI+ hi ha realitats que enfronten una doble discriminació:
⚡️ Les persones trans troben barreres per a competir i la seua identitat és qüestionada.
⚡️ Les persones intersex són silenciades i forçades a encaixar en normes binàries.
⚡️ Les persones amb VIH continuen enfrontant prejudicis i desinformació, a pesar que amb tractament no poden transmetre el virus.

Hui reivindiquem el dret de totes les persones a gaudir de l'esport sense por ni discriminació. Les pistes, els gimnasos i els podis són per a totis! 💪🌈
