Eva Gore-Booth: Centenary Celebration of a Radical, Rebel and Reformer

Eva Gore-Booth Centenary Conference Features On RTÉ

Exhibits detailing the life of Eva Gore-Booth, a lesser-known sister of Constance Markievicz, who championed campaigns that paved the way for women to stand in election, vote and achieve equality have gone on display at Lissadell House in Co Sligo.

The Irish Labour History Society, in association with Women's History Association of Ireland (WHAI) are organising an event in Lissadell House Sligo on 24/25 July on the life of Eva Gore-Booth.

2-day conference registration fee of €60 includes tea/scones on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning; lunch in Lissadell Tea Rooms; free tour of Lissadell House.
