The Filipino Multicultural Society is delighted to support this initiative from the Philippine Embassy in Ireland, celebrating Filipino Food Month 2026.

This year’s theme, “Connected by Taste: The Filipino Food in the Flavours of ASEAN’”, highlights the richness of Filipino culinary heritage and its deep connections across ASEAN cultures. Let’s continue to honour and share the traditions that define who we are, bringing cultures together across ASEAN and beyond.

THE PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN IRELAND CELEBRATES
FILIPINO FOOD MONTH 2026

01 April 2026 - The Philippine Embassy in Ireland joins the 2026 celebration of the Buwan ng Kalutong Pilipino or Filipino Food Month. This year’s theme is “Connected by Taste: The Filipino Food in the Flavors of ASEAN,” aligning with the Philippines’ ASEAN Chairmanship in 2026, and its hosting of the 48th and 49th ASEAN Summits. The Philippines’ celebration this year aims to position our culinary heritage as a cultural asset, as well as a driver of inclusive growth within the ASEAN region.

During this month’s celebration, the Embassy highlights the importance of Filipino culinary heritage in Philippine culture. We encourage all our kababayans in Ireland to rediscover the traditional cuisine that has shaped our history, culture and geography. END

Indonesian by birth. Filipino by heart. 👑 FIMUS Ms Queen of Hearts packed up her family, made the trip from Kilkenny, Ireland to Liverpool, UK, and beelined straight to Jollibee because honestly — where else? Chicken Joy. Spaghetti. Burger Yum. And yes, every bite was savoured like royalty! And naturally, the iconic Jollibee UK pop art walls got the full Queen treatment — selfies, smiles, and all the joy that only that little golden bee can bring. This is what Filipino pride tastes like — and she loved every single moment of it. She didn't just wear the crown — she absolutely earned it, one Jollibee order at a time.
