PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN IRELAND JOINS MANA Mo 2026

01 September 2026 - The Philippine Embassy in Ireland joins the nation in observing Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo) 2026 this September, with the theme “Karapatan sa Karagatan, Sama-sama nating Alagaan”.

MANAMo is an annual celebration established by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 316 signed in 2017 to foster deeper appreciation of the nation’s maritime heritage and recognize the country’s vital role as an archipelagic nation.

This year’s theme aims to express our unwavering commitment to defend our legitimate maritime rights based on international law, and to emphasize stewardship, cooperation, and shared responsibility rather than confrontation.
