THE PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN IRELAND CELEBRATES
FILIPINO FOOD MONTH 2026
01 April 2026 - The Philippine Embassy in Ireland joins the 2026 celebration of the Buwan ng Kalutong Pilipino or Filipino Food Month. This year’s theme is “Connected by Taste: The Filipino Food in the Flavors of ASEAN,” aligning with the Philippines’ ASEAN Chairmanship in 2026, and its hosting of the 48th and 49th ASEAN Summits. The Philippines’ celebration this year aims to position our culinary heritage as a cultural asset, as well as a driver of inclusive growth within the ASEAN region.
During this month’s celebration, the Embassy highlights the importance of Filipino culinary heritage in Philippine culture. We encourage all our kababayans in Ireland to rediscover the traditional cuisine that has shaped our history, culture and geography. END
