So excited to be opening our Fabric of Change Pop up shop today!

It’s been a couple of months in the making, but so worth it!

This is part of a larger project in Carlow Town to support circular fashion and reduce overconsumption!

From the 5th to the 10th of Oct 2 potato Market, Carlow town, VOICE and Carlow County Council will host workshops and a crafters corner alongside local second hand and upcycled items on sales. Come to shop or to try out new skills (for free).

Something's happening in Carlow.

we've been quietly planning this for months. a pop-up shop built entirely from preloved and unsold clothes, hosting both rails for shopping and workshops for young people.

🇫🇷 Happy Bastille Day!

France isn't just celebrating its revolution today-it's also leading a quiet revolution in the circular economy.

Since '23, France has required its main packaging Producer Responsibility Organisation (PRO), Citeo, to dedicate at least 5% of the producer fees it collects to developing and promoting packaging reuse (Repak is our national PRO).

At VOICE, we think Ireland could learn from this approach. Our circular economy needs more than recycling; it needs investment in reuse.

What if, like the French, just 5% of the €100+ million in unredeemed deposits, collected by our plastic bottle and can PRO Re-turn, was earmarked for reuse?

It could have meant €5 million to help build Ireland's reuse infrastructure and accelerate a truly circular economy.
