• An architect and university lecturer with deep knowledge of Dublin’s housing development
• A local historian whose family has lived in the area for generations
• An ecologist, broadcaster, author, and newspaper columnist
• A passionate gardener with a love for native plants
• The creator of a tree survey tracking the Tenters’ changing urban forest over time
From local history and architecture to biodiversity and community action, this free guided walk offers a fresh perspective on the Tenters.

We are delighted to announce that Trees for Tenters has received €2,500 in funding from the Guinness Dublin 8 Community Fund.
This generous grant will go toward hosting local events and publicising our tree survey.
A huge thank you to the Guinness team for supporting our mission to keep the Tenters green and thriving! 🌳🌳✨

There is something beautifully subversive about this tree. The plum tree crown was grafted onto the base. The base sent out its own shoots and now provides a beautiful understory. The resilience of this tree inspires me.
