Here's an excerpt from the article:

"The next thing you know it will be Easter again and hopefully you’ll be up for meaningful bank holiday conversations without having to go through the trauma that my health professional friend (a mother in Blackrock) just went through. Here are some pointers to getting your ducks in a row..."

CAMINO PLUS 2026

A 130km journey traversing the beautiful paths of the Way of St James across Northern Spain

Agapé Ireland invites you to join the journey to Santiago!

The Camino de Santiago stretches across northern Spain. Legend has it that St. James, a friend and follower of Jesus Christ, walked this path to bring the gospel to the ends of the world.

At over 800km long, the path takes intrepid explorers through mountainous, valley, desert, and urban landscapes. Winding its way through the enchanting Santiago de Compostela and finishing at Finisterre, translated as “end of the world”. Agapé Ireland offers you the chance to walk 130km (80 miles) of this ancient pathway.

With your fellow pilgrims, you will traverse the miles, forging friendships and connections as you share life on the Camino together. As evening sets in, we will share meals accompanied by the rich local wines and revel in the unique community this experience fosters.

Whether joining alone or bringing friends, the Camino Plus offers participants a chance to step away from the busy rhythms of daily life and find refreshment in solitude, community, nature, and spiritual reflection.

We'd love you to join us this year from 1st to 10th June 2026. To learn more or book, please click below.

Join the Camino Plus project this year for an adventure in Northern Spain.
