We are 4 universities from around Ireland (University College Dublin, Trinity College Dublin, University College Cork and the University of Ulster) aiming together to build a large Database on Nutrition and Genetics for the Irish Population. The project is being coordinated by Professor Mike Gibney from the Institute of Food and Health in D

ublin and thanks to almost €12 million in funding provided by the Irish Department of Agriculture, the Irish Health Research Board and the Northern Ireland Department of Employment and Learning, the project will run from 2008-2012 and collect data on just over 7,000 people! Whether you are a scientist/organisation/company/a participant in the project or simply someone interested in cutting edge nutrition we invite you to follow the progress of this exciting venture in nutrition!
