Young Migrant Women For all information on AkiDwA Young Migrant Women program. In 2010 a group was formed to cater for the needs of these young women.

Since 2007 many young women from migrant backgrounds engaged with AkiDwA looking for information/support and have participated in various activities. AkiDwA believes that young migrant women should be encouraged and empowered to reach their full potential. The organization aims to build the capacity of these women to promote youth governance and AkiDwA ambassadors. The young women can create powerful and positive change in themselves, in their communities and in their world if given the opportunity.

They help us better understand the challenges faced by marginalized communities and bridge the gap between services and users.
