We were very pleased that the SDCC Mayor Cllr Francis Timmons could join us as we celebrated the end of our Family Learning Week.
Thank you to all the families that participated, to Michelle and Helen from Dublin and Dún Laoghaire ETB, and to our family support worker Deborah and volunteer Sheena who facilitated the programme for the children.
The celebrations were also attended, and thoroughly enjoyed, by our director Mary, manager Karin, and finance officer Amanda.

We had a fully packed morning with the families participating in our Family Learning Week with Dublin and Dún Laoghaire ETB as we celebrated our week together. After a breakfast that included homemade potato cakes the children prepared an exhibition of all the items they created during the week, including kites, birds houses and some very good framed paintings.

Yesterday the children at the Quarryvale FRC Dublin and Dún Laoghaire ETB Family Learning Week made birds houses and some impressive artwork while the adults talked about telling stories, and how to chat to your children every day after school. Everyone there got a book bag to bring home.
Today the children had a games and sports day while the adults focused on self-care.
