Wicklow Head Lighthouse has watched over the Wicklow coastline since 1781. This summer, it sleeps four.

Perched on Dunbur Head, it's the kind of place where the view from the window makes everything else feel optional. Coastal walks on the doorstep, Wicklow town a short drive, and a sky at night that earns the journey.

One dog welcome. From €880 for two nights. Link in bio to get your 2027 booking in (this property goes fast!!)

A few of our favourite summer stays are still available in June and July.

A miniature medieval castle, all to yourselves.

Perched in one of Ulster's oldest villages, Barbican Gatelodge dates to 1825 and has everything you need to properly switch off — a rooftop terrace for al fresco dining, a welcoming fireside, a deep bath, and views of the river that never get old.

Step outside and you're moments from the walled gardens and tearooms of Glenarm Castle, and the breathtaking Antrim Coast and Glens on the doorstep.

This is what a real escape looks like.

Our sympathies go out to the family and friends of Orla Kelly. Orla was the interior designer for many Irish Landmark Trust properties.
May she rest in peace.

Orla Kelly, the Kilkenny-based designer, presenter, actor and former political figure, has died at the age of 59.

A fort on the edge of Cork city. Georgian townhouse character, quiet nights, and everything worth seeing a short walk away.

There’s something about a long weekend in June. The evenings stretch out. The rush softens. The days feel unplanned.

Our properties are places to settle into, to gather in, and to enjoy at your own pace.

A few extra days.
Somewhere memorable.
That’s the June Bank Holiday, done differently.

There’s something special about arriving somewhere that feels ready for you.

At the Schoolhouse at Annaghmore, Richard found a fire already laid, thoughtful touches throughout, and a warm welcome that made the building feel lived in once again.

Irish Landmark Trust restores historic buildings like this former schoolhouse — not just to preserve them, but to let new stories unfold inside them.

Some stays are about getting out and seeing everything.
Others are about settling in and going nowhere at all.

At Inchiquin House, you don’t have to choose.

Spend the day exploring the Cliffs of Moher or Lahinch’s coastline, then return to a long table, stories shared, and dinner prepared by your own private chef (on request).

Or skip the plans entirely - slow mornings, games by the fire, and dining on the patio as the evening draws in.

Sleeping 10, Inchiquin House was made for gathering - where the best moments happen both inside and out, in a place shaped by history.

Slow tourism is about taking your time. Staying longer. Noticing more.

This May, step into the story of Magherintemple Gatelodge - built in 1874 and carefully restored by Irish Landmark Trust.

Spend your days exploring the Causeway Coast, and your evenings somewhere shaped by history.

Because when you slow down, places have more to say.
