Blossom Ireland provides skills-based training for young people with an intellectual disability, aged 14 and above, to prepare for life as an adult. This includes bespoke support, advocacy and information for both the young person and their family during important transition periods in their life. Our aim is to develop and deliver accessible, practical and impactful transition support programmes.
We are extraordinarily proud to have supported over 500 young people with these programmes over the last decade and, with your support, look forward to continue expanding our impact across the country. In 2020, we launched Ireland's first and only fully-accessible blended learning platform for people with intellectual disabilities, My Blossom Channel. This award-winning platform has allowed us to scale-up to meet demand while meeting our participants where they're most comfortable.
