Model Railway Society of Ireland Home of model railways in north Dublin. based at the old fire station, Dorset St, Dublin 1. There is NO joining fee.

Our current membership rates currently stand at โ‚ฌ75.00 for all members. Persons under the age of 16 years must be accompanied at all times by a (fully paid) parent or guardian. Membership runs from January 1st to December 31st each year. If you join during November or December your membership is valid until the end of the following December. Please make cheques payable to The Model Railway Society of Ireland. We help promote & support model railways throughout Ireland!

Featuring today we have this 00 gauge IRM A Class owned by member John Lowes! It features 3D printed car transporters made by himself and weathered to perfection to simulate the transport of cars from Cork to Dublin during the A class Era. It's with great sadness that we hear of the passing of the legend Paddy Murphy of the infamous Murphy Models ๐Ÿ˜ฅ
He will be sorely missed throughout the model railway fraternity. I'll miss his chats of his motorcycle adventures across Europe and his vast knowledge of Dublin.
Rest in peace my good friend ๐Ÿ’”
