WE NEED YOUR HELP. DO YOU KNOW A HIDDEN CREATIVE?

Whether it be a friend, family member, an old college friend or even your neighbour, IAPI and our Creative is Native partners, The Irish Times, are welcoming all non-professional creatives to submit ideas for an advertisement to promote Ireland as an amazing source of inspiration for creativity.

The winner will receive €5000 towards a bursary or professional creative equipment.
But we need your help! We are looking for Ireland’s hidden creatives. People who have a big idea they have always wanted to bring to reality. This is a creative competition for non-professional creatives. The kind of person for whom creativity is in no short supply but they don’t actually make a living from it. They might be a student, an accountant, unemployed, a retiree or a taxi driver. Either way, they can be a contender.

Think you know just the person? Then what are you waiting for? Send this email to them and they could be in with a chance of winning €5000!

The deadline to submit an entry is this Friday, 2nd December at 5pm, so please send this on to whoever you think would be the perfect fit for this competition. It's their last chance to enter!

You can find out more information about how to enter at iapi.ie/create

Grab your Santa hats because IAPI Hour is BACK!

Due to the enormous success of our IAPI Hour launch in October, IAPI is proud to bring back IAPI Hour next month, with a festive twist.

IAPI Hour is a social event - where anyone from an IAPI agency is welcome to come together to socialise and have some drinks. It's a great opportunity for newer staff to expand their network, for industry leaders to catch up with past colleagues and for everyone in-between to meet old friends and new.

It's time to get merry, so come down and join us for a festive evening at Slattery's Pub D4, Grand Canal Street Upper, on December 8th between 6-8pm. Don't forget - your first drink (or two) is on IAPI! Whether that be a pint, a cocktail, or a beverage.

Please note that due to limited capacity in the venue, there are only 50 spots available for this IAPI member event. So put your name down on the list while you can!

The Irish Times interviewed Charley Stoney, CEO, IAPI, Abi Moran, CEO, , and Elizabeth Sheehan, Sustainability and Marketing Consult, about the Ad Net Zero initiative.

“Ad Net Zero Ireland is a climate action initiative that calls on the industry to use their influence to promote more sustainable consumer choices. The initiative is chaired by sustainability specialist and former brand executive Elizabeth Sheehan, working with the Ad Net Zero Council, made up of representatives from each of the trade bodies involved–IAPI, MII, AAI, CPI and IAB Ireland.

Ad Net Zero represents the first time all elements of the advertising and marketing industry have come together with a shared agenda – to help reduce the emission of greenhouse gases.”

Thank you to for helping spread awareness of As Net Zero through this IAPI sponsored article.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ROISIN, RAPHAEL, LEONA AND ANTHONY 🎉🎉🎉

will hold their Young Creative Integrated Competition 2022 virtually again this year and IAPI are delighted to put forward two teams that we hope will represent Ireland exceptionally well.

Following the presentation of campaigns, the two winning teams selected are:
* Roisin O’Mahony, Copywriter, Boys + Girls & Raphael Silva, Art Director/Motion Designer, Droga5 Dublin
* Leona Smyth, Art Director, TBWA/Dublin & Anthony McDonagh, Junior Copywriter, Core

This competition aims to keep the spirit of eurobest alive, giving young creatives a brilliant platform to showcase their talents. During the selection process all competing teams were asked to answer a brief for Dublin City to raise awareness amongst both men and women about how sexual intimidation and aggressive behaviour are unacceptable and that they do not belong on the streets of Dublin.
