Dublin Basque Solidarity Committee

Dublin Basque Solidarity Committee Campaigning for self-determination for the Basque Country. This is the page of the Dublin Irish Basque Solidarity Committee (DIBSC).

"DIBSC is a broad organization united around support for the Basque people in their struggle for self-determination. It considers the Basque people to be a distinct ethnic group, with their own language, Euskera, although other languages are spoken. The Basque people have their own cultural traditions and occupy a specific territory (albeit divided by the Spanish and French states). "The DIBSC is

aware of long struggles by the Basque people for self-determination and socialism and of the repression they have suffered as a result from both occupying states. The DIBSC considers that the Basque people have the right to decide the means by which they carry out their resistance and wage the struggle for self-determination." (DIBSC Constitution).
