🌈 TASC and ShoutOut are working on a project looking at strategies to increase allyship with LGBTQI+ youth in Ireland
💡 We are currently recruiting a panel of young people who are passionate about improving the lives of LGBTQI+ youth to support the project
⬇ See below for more information!

🌈 Ready to champion allyship for LGBTQI+ youth in Ireland? Join our Youth Advisory Panel and let your voice be heard! 👫👬🧑‍🤝‍🧑👭

If you’re aged 18-25 and living in Ireland, you do not need to have any specific experience or have worked with any other youth groups in the past to join the youth advisory panel.

Your experience as a young person living in Ireland is all you need. We particularly want to include the voices of LGBTQIA+ young people, including those who may hold intersectional ideas, including young people of colour, young people of faith, members of the Traveller community, disabled young people, and other young people who are members of underrepresented groups.

Participants will receive a €150 One4All voucher in recognition of their time and contributions.

International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women – 25 November

Research has found that financial abuse is present in over 99% of domestic violence cases. Financial control and coercion undermines victims confidence, self-esteem, and self-identity, which in turn impacts their ability to stay in employment, manage their finances, and seek support.
TASC in partnership with IBCB - Irish Banking Culture Board, MABS - The Money Advice and Budgeting Service , and Safe Ireland have created training and resources in Financial Resilience for domestic violence services. See: www.frtdv.ie

Thanks to Sustainable Enniscorthy for helping us host a brilliant conversation at Greentech HQ last night. The TASC team is very excited to build on the People’s Transition report by collaborating with researchers in UCD and Trinity College on the CONUNDRUM project, supported by SFI’s Sustainable Communities Challenge. We look forward to learning more about transition in the town and how mobility challenges could be addressed.

Help Enniscorthy solve a Conundrum on Mon. 20 Nov. at 7pm in Greentech HQ.
CONUNDRUM: understanding transport needs in Enniscorthy is a community engagement event / focus group to help understand the transport options available to people in Enniscorthy and how they could be improved. All welcome.
Read more about this research project on sustainable and shared transport options for Enniscorthy in the Slaney News Nov. edition, p. 53 at this link:

We were delighted to be back in Enniscorthy after the People’s Transition to begin working on the CONUNDRUM project with researchers from UCD and Trinity College.
It was a really insightful conversation on mobility in Enniscorthy and we look forward to engaging with more people in the town in the new year!
