Some images on the plans for the new pool at the Kilmore rec.
Initial thoughts positive with some reservations. Adjustable depth pools are very versatile for users but there are no companies installing/maintaining them in Ireland. A breakdown could potentially lead to prolonged closures if contractors have to be brought in from UK or France.
The additional studios is a plus. Great for groups such as Water Safety who would like to do land drill sessions without leaving for another site.
Things are still at the design stage so it's too early to tell if this would be run directly by DCC or via a company like Swan and what the hire conditions will be.
