We have had our scheduled AGM, the board has given us dates for the egm that suits them. They have said there is no point unless there are members willing to take the vicechair and branch admin posts.

My schedule no longer allows me to do what is involved and I really need someone to step up and volunteer.

We held our Annual General Meeting on the 1st March and only two member positions were filled; the chairperson by Dan Jordan and the MDO is once again Connie Richardson. The branch will collapse if no one steps forward to take these roles on. These roles are Branch Admin and Chairperson. If you are interested please contact Dan Jordan at [email protected].

We are struggling to keep fundraising which helps provide you with the respites and recreations and transport to it. We would appreciate if you could find time and space to fundraise for the branch. If you cannot it would mean less opportunities for respite and events.

There is a WhatsApp group informing of upcoming events to all adult members. If you would like to join, please contact Linda on 086 820 7019 or Mary at 085 150 5637

The Valentine’s disco is on on the 8th February in the Maldron Hotel. If you wish to attend contact Louise Healy on 085 711 9087. There is limited transport available, if you need it, please contact Connie on 085 750 2242.

We are currently planning our Annual General Meeting online on the 1st March at 12pm. There will be three positions opening up as the Chairperson, Linda Groome, the vicechairperson, Stephen Groome, and the Branch Admin, Mary Finch, are all resigning. We are excited to continue on the success of our first teen meet up and tell you all about meet up number 2! This second event is in conjunction with Tipperary Branch and the Cork Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association.

It is that time of year again. Spooky season is upon us. Dublin branch will be hosting an online quiz on the 30th October at 7pm. There will be a 10er surcharge and prizes for the winner/s.
