The Larch Hill Adventure Camp is BACK this Halloween Mid-Term!

From 27th to 30th October, Larch Hill will be hosting a 👻SPOOKY👻 edition of our Adventure Camp!

Looking for an exciting way for your child to spend the Halloween break? We are inviting ages 6 to 14 to join us for a week of Halloween themed adventure.

Whether they're discovering new skills, taking on challenges or simply having fun with friends, there's something for everyone! 🎃

We're proud to announce that Larch Hill International Scout & Guide Centre, Castle Saunderson and Lough Dan Scout & Eco Centre have all achieved SCENES Accreditation - Scout Centres of Excellence for Nature, Environment and Sustainability!🌿

Our Centres now belong to a worldwide network of SCENES Centres of Excellence, leading the way in environmental education and sustainable practices.

It's been a busy few months at Larch Hill.

So far this year we've welcomed Scouts, Guides, Schools and Youth Groups, with 8,753 guests through our gates between 6,328 young people and 2,425 adults.

We've hosted section camps, group camps, county events, Shields, Cub Challenges National Events, Gaisce Adventure Journeys and much more.

The sound of laughter, adventure and friendship is what makes a Scout Centre what it is and we are proud to have been a part of the journey of every person that visited Larch Hill.

A huge thank you to every young person, volunteer, leader and teacher who has brought the Scouting Spirit to Larch Hill this year 💚

Applications open for our International Volunteer Team for Autumn 2026 🍂

We are looking for 4x wonderful volunteers to join this amazing green team from the start of September to end of November!

Rather than telling you what our volunteers get up to during work and while on adventures, have a look at some snapshots from our amazing Spring 2026 team 🐇

Earlier this year we welcomed Lola 🇪🇸, Nora 🇳🇱, Sofia 🇸🇪 and Alberte 🇩🇰 to the Larch Hill team!
We also welcomed Alistair 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and Lucile🇨🇭who have taken on Long Term Volunteer roles until later in the year.
