came together to exchange knowledge, strengthen capacities and promote inclusion.

This recap takes us through our partner meetings, the Train the Trainer programme in North Macedonia, national trainings across partner countries, multiplier events, and finally to our inspiring Final Conference in Dublin 💙

📊✨ What do students really think and feel about PE and sport?
At KFG Budapest, students are helping us find the answers by completing the Equal GEMS baseline questionnaire. 💙

Through the survey, we gain valuable insight into their experiences, motivations, confidence, and overall relationship with physical education and sport. The results will help us create more inclusive, supportive, and empowering PE practices throughout the project. 🏃‍♀️🏐✨

Here is our research findings from our recent successful final EU conference. These researching findings show a persistent gap between the educational attainment and independent living outcomes of autistic adults.

We have developed a curriculum, real world lesson plans, and a VR housing environment and the results speak for themselves:

- 93.3% of educators improved their skills
- 75% of autistic adults rated the VR experience 5/5

It doesn’t stop there, we are building on this project, launching summer courses for primary teachers and further refining our multi- sector inclusion training based on our research and project insights!

We did it✨

On Friday, the Houses4Autism Final Conference brought together the EU consortium, autistic advocates, educators, policymakers, formally opened by the Lord Mayor of Dublin Cllr Ray McAdam, keynote by Deputy Rory Hearne TD and panel of expert speakers, with a supportive message from Minister Norma Foley TD, all united around one powerful idea:

Independent living starts with wellbeing✨

Mental health resilience isn't a footnote. It's the foundation. And technology like VR can help people build that foundation safely, at home, at their own pace.

Here's what our international award-winning research told us:
- 60–90% of autistic adults experience loneliness
- 55–82% hold third-level qualifications — yet only 14–45% live independently
- In Ireland: just 5% live alone; 65% live with family
- 100% called for better autism training

We've developed a curriculum, real-world lesson plans, and a VR housing environment, and the results speak:

The work doesn't stop here. We're now building on this Project, launching our summer courses for primary teachers and further refining our multi-sector inclusion training based on our research and project insights.
