💙A few hours of your time could make a lasting difference.💙

We’re looking for volunteers to join us at our Food Appeal on the 25th, 26th & 27th June from 10:30am in Tesco Cabra (Navan Road), Ashbourne, Rush and Clearwater Finglas.

By volunteering, you’ll help collect vital food donations that go directly to families struggling with food poverty in our communities.

Last year alone, we supported over 1,000 families – more than 5,000 people. Behind every donation is a child, a parent, a neighbour, or someone going through a difficult time.

You don’t need any experience—just a few hours, a smile, and a willingness to help.

95,170 children in Ireland are living in consistent poverty: about 1 in every 12.

That means children going without basics like heating, warm clothes, new shoes, school trips, sports, and even birthday celebrations.

While many of us plan holidays and activities, thousands of children are worrying about everyday essentials.

No child should start school without a coat.
No child should have their future limited by poverty.
Every child deserves a fair start in life, with the chance to thrive.

Child poverty isn’t inevitable, it’s a policy choice, and it can be changed.

If you’re finding things difficult right now, please know that support is available.

Our Food Support Service is open to anyone who needs help. You do not need a referral – you can contact us directly and speak with our team in confidence.

This service is not just for people experiencing homelessness. Many individuals and families are struggling with the rising cost of living, and we’re here to help where we can.

No judgment. No stigma. Just support.

What if someone believed in you before you believed in yourself?

At Feed Our Homeless, we see every day how one conversation, one opportunity, or one act of kindness can change the direction of a life.

Food may be the starting point, but it is rarely the full story.

Behind every food parcel, outreach interaction, volunteer placement, or programme is a person with strengths, potential, and a story we may never fully know.

We believe people are more than their circumstances.

We believe dignity should never be conditional. No one should have to earn basic respect, care, or recognition of their worth.

We believe belonging comes before change.

And we believe that sometimes the most powerful thing you can do for someone is to help them see in themselves what they cannot yet see on their own.

Because one person believing in you can become the beginning of everything.

A huge thank you to our local Youth Club for their incredible support and generosity in raising €148.30 for us.

We are so grateful for the effort, enthusiasm, and community spirit shown by everyone involved. It means so much to know that people are willing to give their time and support to help others.

Still smiling after such an incredible day at our 5KM race 💛

We just want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who made the event so special. We were honestly blown away by the turnout, the atmosphere, and the support shown throughout the day. Whether you came to race, cheer people on, volunteer, or simply be part of it, thank you. It truly meant so much to us.

A very special thank you to our main sponsor, Allianz Ireland, for their incredible support, and to all of our amazing sponsors and partners who helped make the event possible, and to Corkagh Park for hosting us on such a beautiful day.

We were unbelievably lucky with the weather and seeing so many people come together created such an amazing atmosphere from start to finish.

Following the incredible success of our first-ever Feed Our Homeless 5K run, we are delighted to share that we plan to be back again in 2027.

Next year, we promise to come back bigger and better, with the same electric atmosphere, friendly faces, and strong community spirit that made this year so special.

Save the date: **Sunday, 23 May 2027** 💙
