That's a wrap on our August Summer Camp for 2026! 🌞😍

What a fantastic week we’ve had! Our campers were absolutely brilliant and threw themselves into farm life, showing so much enthusiasm, kindness and care for all of our animals while enjoying the following activities:🐐🐑🐓🪿🐴

🐑🐐 Spending time sitting with and getting to know our goats and sheep.
🐔 Bathing some very lucky chickens!
🧹 Cleaning the animals’ stables every morning.
🥕 Preparing food for the animals and helping with feeding.
🌱 Visiting our allotments and learning about what we grow from seed to harvest.
💧 Watering the farm plants to help keep everything thriving.
🐰🐰 Listening to a small animal welfare talk with Michelle, along with our special guest rabbits Sage & Buddy on all things rabbit and guinea pigs.
🌱🐾 A wildlife talk with Conal to learn more about the creatures around us.

A huge thank you to all of our fantastic camp leaders: Michelle, Grace, Lynn, Ella & Conal for making the week so enjoyable, educational and memorable 💕

Lastly thank you to our wonderful campers. We hope you had as much fun as we did, and we’d love to see some familiar faces back on the farm next year! 🥰🌻

🌻🐑 Summer Camp 2 is in full swing on the farm! 🐷🐔🌱

It’s been a busy and fun-filled week, with our campers getting stuck into all sorts of farm jobs - cleaning out the stables, tidying our flower beds and collecting seeds for next year.

They have visited our allotments to learn about growing fruit and vegetables and to see how much work goes into growing food from seed to harvest. 🌱🍓

There’s been plenty of animal care too, including grooming our sheep and Vietnamese pot-bellied pigs, bathing chickens and preparing fresh food for all our animals. 🐑🐷🐔

It’s great to see the children getting hands-on, learning new skills, caring for the animals and enjoying what farm life has to offer! 🌱🐓

We’re delighted to share that St Anne’s City Farm received a Highly Commended Award at the "Working with Nature Awards" 2026, held in the beautiful Powerscourt Estate.

A big thank you to our volunteer Vicky Spitzer, who accepted the award on behalf of the farm.

We’re honoured to be recognised alongside inspiring organisations such as Kildare Wildlife Rescue.

A huge thank you to Mia Mulvany for organising our annual Pub Quiz at Harry Byrne's! 💚

Not only is Mia a hugely talented artist, who created the beautiful mural at the farm, but she also put so much time, effort and hard work into making this event such a success. We really appreciate everything she did behind the scenes.

A big thank you as well to all of the volunteers who helped out on the night. Your support and teamwork made the event possible.

Every euro raised will go back into the farm, helping us care for our wonderful animals while also giving back to our youth team through training, educational opportunities, trips and experiences.

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported us. Your generosity means so much to us and to the animals in our care. 💚🐑🐇🐐
