This is the offical page of Social Care Ireland. It is a non-profit voluntary body of Social Care Workers, Managers and Educators who provide professional representation on behalf of the profession to government bodies, CORU and policy making bodies. It is not affilitated with other sites related to the social care profession who operate independently. Social Care Ireland is pleased to share findings presented at Barnardosโ€™ recent โ€œAchieving Change for Childrenโ€ event.

Drawing on outcomes data from 1,262 parents and children, Barnardos reports statistically significant improvements in child and family wellbeing following intensive family support.

These findings offer valuable insights for social care professionals supporting children and families, highlighting the role of evidence-based practice and relationship-based support.
