Ubuntu Ireland The organisation was established in 2001 by African diaspora and Irish activists.

Africa Centre Ireland is a not for profit organization in Ireland aim to support African diaspora communities in Ireland to integrate and addressed their concerns. Africa Centre was founded in the year 2001 by a group of activists in the African Diaspora community who wanted the community to have a voice and promote their active participation in all aspect of life inIreland.

Today the AfricaCentre Ireland Africa Centre Ireland Ubuntu Ireland Intercultural Youth Society and many other civil society organisations welcomed the opportunity to contribute to the development of An Garda Síochána’s Diversity Strategy 2026 - 2029. As a community-led organisation working closely with African and migrant communities across Ireland, the Africa Solidarity Centre Ireland recognises the vital role that fair, inclusive, and accountable policing plays in promoting social cohesion, public safety, and trust in state institutions.
