Have you hiked up to Knocknacloghoge from the old house at Lough Dan recently?

Someone or some group have done a lovely bit of work cutting back the gorse and putting out way-marks so that there is now an identifiable track all the way up to Knocknacloghogue.

It's good to see someone has taken the initiative to do something good like this. This is a very safe and enjoyable way to access the hills which is favoured by the vast majority of hill walkers.

The only thing I would like to say to these enterprising people who took the initiative, is that we would welcome the opportunity to discuss with them a uniform national standard for way-marking.
