🌿 24 Hours in the Wicklow Wilderness! 🌿

A huge thank you to the incredible team at Enterprise Mobility for braving 24 hours in the Wicklow wilderness in aid of The Friends of St Luke’s Cancer Care! 💚

30 brave participants took on this fantastic challenge, stepping outside their comfort zones and showing incredible team spirit, all while raising an amazing over €17,500 for our charity! 👏

Your generosity, determination and support mean so much to us and will make a real difference to the patients and families attending our St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network centres.

Tomorrow, this amazing team will take on an extraordinary 24-hour Survival Challenge in the Wicklow Mountains in aid of The Friends of St Luke’s Cancer Care. 💚

For the next 24 hours, they’ll be braving the wilderness with no tents, putting themselves well and truly to the test! 💪⛰️

We are beyond grateful and incredibly proud of this wonderful team for taking on such an incredible challenge and helping to support cancer care at St Luke’s. Your commitment, determination and generosity mean so much to us. 💚

🎉 Congratulations Breffni 3 Province Challenge on 25 fantastic years! 🎉

An incredible €34,134.25 was raised this year, and The Friends of St Luke’s Cancer Care were honoured to be one of the cancer charities to benefit from this wonderful event, receiving a cheque for €17,000.

Over the past 25 years, the Breffni 3 Province Challenge has raised over €1.2 million for cancer charities — an extraordinary achievement that has made a real difference to so many lives.

A heartfelt thank you to the organising committee, the wonderful community of Arva, and everyone who took part, supported and contributed over the years.

Thank you so much for your continued generosity and for everything you do to support cancer care. We are truly grateful! 💜

💜 Please support Melanie & Muriel! 💜

We’re delighted to have the support of Melanie and her cousin Muriel, who were on South East Radio yesterday morning talking about their upcoming fundraiser in aid of The Friends of St Luke’s Cancer Care.

Melanie and Muriel have both experienced cancer treatment first-hand, including stays at Oakland Lodge at St Luke’s Hospital in Rathgar.

Their experiences have inspired them to give back and help us continue supporting cancer patients and their families. 💜

The evening will also raise awareness of cancer prevention, the HPV vaccine and the support available to patients and families.

💙 A very special thank you to Seamus Carey 💙

We were delighted to welcome Seamus Carey to The Friends of St Luke’s office on Monday, where he presented us with an incredible €2,255 cheque following his amazing fundraising cycling challenge. 🚴‍♂️👏

Seamus, who was a patient at St Luke’s from October 2020 to January 2021, marked five years cancer-free by taking on an incredible series of cycling challenges in support of The Friends of St Luke’s Cancer Care and Cancer Care West.

We are so grateful that Seamus chose to give back to St Luke’s in such a meaningful way. His determination, generosity and the support of his family and friends have made this an incredibly special fundraiser.

🚗 WHAT AN INCREDIBLE DAY! 🚗

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us on Sunday, 6th September for The Friends of St Luke’s Classic & Exotic Car Show at St Luke’s Hospital, Rathgar.

💙 And we have some incredible news to share…

While we are still waiting for the final amount to be calculated, we are absolutely delighted to announce that The Friends of St Luke’s Classic & Exotic Car Show 2026 has raised over €24,000!

We are completely blown away by the generosity and support shown to us. Every euro raised will help The Friends of St Luke’s Cancer Care continue to support cancer patients and their families, and we simply cannot thank you enough.

What an incredible turnout! We are so grateful to every single person who came along, supported the event, bought tickets, entered our raffle and helped make the day such a fantastic success. 💙

A very special thank you to everyone who helped make the day possible:

✨ Bridge Jewellers, Roly’s Bistro, Ryan Baird and Killiney Travel for the extremely generous raffle prizes.

🚘 The wonderful Classic & Exotic team for putting together such a fantastic presentation of cars, and of course to all of the incredible car owners who generously gave their time and shared their beautiful cars with us.
