We meet on the 3rd Monday of the month at 7.30pm at The 51 Bar, Haddington Rd., Dublin 4 Power Talk is an advanced Toastmasters club, we meet on the 3rd Monday of each month.

At Monday Night's meeting on 20th July we were honoured to have one of our members, Viv Tyndall, give his speech titled Where the Heart Fines Home. Viv will present this speech at the Toastmasters World Semi Finals for the International Speech Contest in Vancouver in August. Viv was followed by a Humorous Speech fron Chris O'Byrne titled A Dodgy Haircut. Viv finished up the prepared speeches by giving us a first run through his World Finals speech, should he make it through the Semi-Final. It was titled I wish I had a Teleprompter. Vivs two speeches were reviewed by the entire audience and we hope he picked up a few pointers which propel him to the Finals. Pictures show Viv being congratulated by Club President Larry Power on his succes so far. We wish Viv every success in the World Finals.

Powertalk Toastmasters meet during the Summer and our next meeting is on Monday 17th August upstairs in The 51 Pub, Haddington Road, Ballsbridge at 7.30.

Tonight we have our first meeting of the new Toastmaster year upstairs at The 51 Bar, Haddington Road, Ballsbridge Dublin 2 at 19.30. With Viv Tyndall giving 2 speeches is preparing for the fortcuming International Speech Contest and Chris O'Byrne also going to regale us about his dodgy haircut woth PJ Claffey as Toastmaster, we are looking forward to a great meting. Please come along as a guest tonight if your Club is on holoday for the summer.
