The board and staff of Literature Ireland were deeply saddened to learn of the death of the literary agent, Simon Trewin.

Simon was a regular visitor to Ireland and a great champion of many Irish writers over the years.

A regular visitor to the Literature Ireland stand at the Frankfurt Book and London Fairs, he was also a frequent guest at the An Post Book Awards which are held each year in Dublin.

He will be greatly missed across the British and Irish book sectors.

Our deepest sympathies to his wife and son and to his wide circle of friends.
