Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health on a global scale, focusing on mental health and su***de prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Across the world, men are dying six years earlier than women, and for largely preventable reasons. By 2030, we aim to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25%. Since the first moustaches were grown in 2003, Movember has raised over AUD $1 billion for men’s health, funding more than 1,250 innovative programs ranging from groundbreaking clinical tests and trials to game-changing mental health studies and programs. Thanks to the support of our fundraising community, we’ve made epic progress that has changed and saved men’s lives. Registered Charity No. 20105280.

We placed a phonebooth on Grafton Street in Dublin and asked you what you thought about men's health.

Testicular cancer is the most diagnosed cancer among young men in Ireland. Regular self-checks are essential to keep your balls in tip-top shape.

STEAM
A warm shower will put your liathróidí in the mood.

ROLL
Roll one ball between thumb and forefinger, checking for lumps, swelling, or pain.

REPEAT
Do the same on the other one.

They should feel smooth, firm and sensitive, but not painful. If something changes or doesn’t feel right, talk to a doctor.

We were delighted to return to with our Movember Barbershop this year for Cuts & Conversations!

4 in 5 su***des in Ireland are men so we chatted about the importance of good friends and encouraging people to open up when they are struggling.
