Some evenings stay with you long after they end. 🌙

Our Dublin 8 Community Iftar was one of those evenings. Neighbours, families and local organisations came together to share a meal, learn from one another and celebrate the strength of our community.

Moments like these remind us that understanding grows when people come together with openness, kindness and respect. Here’s to many more evenings around the table.

💕 Last Wednesday was one of those mornings that reminded us how special simple moments can be.

It was such a joy to see mothers and daughters spending time together, making bracelets, sharing laughs, helping each other with activities, and taking photos to remember the day.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made the event so warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. It was wonderful to see new friendships being made and families enjoying time together away from the busyness of everyday life.

We loved every minute of it and can’t wait to create more special moments with you all. 🌸💖

What a morning to end on 💛

Thank you to every woman who joined our Fun Day for Ladies, our last gathering before the summer break.

We shared dishes from across cultures, heard the stories behind them, and got creative with arts, crafts and henna. The room was full of good food, laughter and new friendships.

To everyone who came, cooked, created and connected: thank you for such a special season. Rest, enjoy your summer, and we can’t wait to welcome you all back 🤝

AMAL Women Ireland was delighted to take part in the Community Development Projects gathering, bringing together projects from across the country to showcase our work, celebrate achievements, exchange ideas, and inspire future collaboration.

It was a pleasure to meet with fellow community projects and to welcome Jerry Buttimer, Minister of State at the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht and at the Department of Transport. The event highlighted the important role community development projects play in supporting communities, promoting inclusion, and creating positive change across Ireland.

Thank you to for hosting such a valuable opportunity to connect, learn from one another, and celebrate the impact of community work while looking ahead to the future. As part of Refugee Week Ireland and our annual Eid Gift Project, Amal Women Ireland was delighted to bring a little extra joy to refugee children celebrating Eid.

In collaboration with Islamic Relief Ireland and with support from Google, we distributed 250 toys to children living in IPAS and refugee accommodation centers across Ireland.

A sincere thank you to everyone who helped make this initiative possible and to all those working to ensure that refugee families feel welcomed and valued in Ireland.🧸🤍
