We’re incredibly delighted and grateful to share that The Hero Within has been awarded Best Short Film at the Niagara Canada International Film Festival😊

Created in close collaboration with Raising Empowered Kids, The Hero Within was developed as a cinematic experience designed to help children discover something powerful- that the answers they’re searching for may already exist within them.

Through cinematic storytelling, Harmony Hare and the ROAR journey invite children to explore self-awareness, possibility, acceptance, and connection to their inner strengths.

This recognition belongs to every person who helped transform a vision into something children and families could experience together.

Heartfelt thanks to our wonderful partners, specially Tammy Vallieres and the Raising Empowered Kids, as well as the creative team Tam and Antonova, Giesler and everyone who has been part of this journey.

Together, we were able to create an impactful statement that blended emotional storytelling and hero-based learning. We're grateful to be working alongside you all!

At Aunua, our focus is to help young people develop deeper self-awareness and emotional understanding as part of their growth journey.

Together with Raising Empowered Kids, we developed a cinematic experience titled The Hero Within, helping children see that the answers they’re searching for are often already within them.

Through storytelling, the experience introduces ROAR:

• Recognize internal experiences
• Open to possibilities
• Accept self and others
• Reconnect with inner strengths

This collaboration brings emotional learning into narrative form, following two children guided by Harmony Hare as they discover their own strengths and potential.

We are proud to share this work on June 6-7th, 2026 at Niagara Canada International Film Festival, an IMDB qualified film festival celebrating filmmakers and global storytelling from across the world.🌎
