October’s NF Magazine is out now

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this month’s NF Patients United magazine focuses on the increased risk of breast cancer in women with NF1.

The issue features Dr Gareth Evans explaining who may be most at risk and how risk can be reduced, nurse specialist Sarah van Dijk discussing support for women with NF1, and the inspiring story of Aikaterini from Greece, a breast cancer survivor who has been cancer-free for several years 💗

Registration is now open for the NF Ireland Open Day 2026

We are delighted to invite the NF community to join us at Croke Park, Dublin on Saturday 24th October 2026 💙💚

The Open Day will bring together individuals and families affected by Neurofibromatosis, healthcare professionals and the wider NF community for a day of expert talks, information, help and support.

Our speakers will cover areas including NF services, genetics, neurology and living with Neurofibromatosis, with plenty of opportunity to learn, connect and meet others from across the NF community.
