Last week, our Programmes Coordinator Eiméar attended the ESC Quality Label Holders Event in Dublin. Organised by Léargas, it brought together organisations, project representatives and key contacts involved in the European Solidarity Corps to connect, share knowledge, exchange experiences and learn from one another.

It was a valuable opportunity to strengthen connections, build shared understanding and support each other in our work with young people and communities. Thank you to the Leargas team for hosting this wonderful event! 👏

SCI Switzerland is recruiting a European Voluntary Service volunteer for a 3.5-month placement from September to December 2026.

You'll gain hands-on experience in programme coordination, communications, and non-formal education, working within an internationally recognised volunteer network. Knowledge of German and/or French is an advantage.

VSI staff team members Helen, Eimear and Sharmistha were in the amazing Killarney National Park on Monday to plan our summer 2026 volunteer projects with KNP staff Tim, Mary and Jess. Huge thanks to you all for all the work and the tours of the beautiful national park.

In October VSI planted 60 trees in KNP for our 60th anniversary, not much growth yet over the winter but they’re looking good!
