Want to make a difference in your community?

The Clondalkin Drug and Alcohol Task Force (CDATF) is looking for local residents to join our Community Representatives Forum.

Built on community development principles, the Forum ensures that the voice of the local community is at the very heart of everything we do.

As a Community Representative, you will:
Work alongside CDATF to identify the causes and consequences of substance use in the area.

Help shape local solutions and strategies.

Collaborate with a team supported and facilitated by CDATF staff.

This is a vital, voluntary role for people passionate about their local area.

Get involved: To learn more or have an informal chat, contact Cathy at 0834407193.

We were absolutely delighted to officially launch the Clondalkin Prevention Lab this past Wednesday at the Green Isle Hotel!
We were honoured to be joined by the Minister of State for Public Health, Wellbeing and the National Drugs Strategy, Jennifer Murnane O Connor TD, to celebrate this milestone.
Developed over the past four years, the Lab is a community-based prevention initiative focused on preventing substance use and related harms, particularly among children, young people, and families.
By bringing together schools, youth services, family support projects, and frontline professionals, the Lab plays a vital role in supporting our local schools. Together, we are designing evidence-based prevention responses that are deeply rooted in the realities of our community.
A massive thank you to Minister Murnane O'Connor and everyone who came out to support this vital work. We are excited for the journey ahead!
