DO YOU CONDONE PARENTAL ALIENATION OR NOT?

This Campaign is a non Political Cross Party one and is not in anyway connected to any Political Party. The above motion was developed between members of Forever Fathers and Alienated Parents Support and was given to Donegal County Councillors Martin Harley Fine Gael and Gary Doherty Sinn Fein who got it tabled proposed seconded and passed unanimously on 2nd December 20119.

Parental Alienation is the emotional poisoning or brainwashing of a Child against their other Parent by usually the Custodial Parent. This page is about making Parental Alienation an Offence in Ireland as presently it is not recognised in Ireland by the Courts. HSE or even TUSLA although they are aware it exists in every corner of Ireland. WHO recognise Parental Alienation as does CAFCASS and in a number of countries it is a crime. This page is to register the political support to address this Child abuse and Coercive Control through its recognition and future legislation. Presently there is not Political Party in Ireland that has a policy on Parental Alienation although Donegal, Laois, Cavan and Louth County Councils (with more coming online) have all passed motions calling on the Irish Government to recognise and address Parental Alienation. Simarly Derry City and Strabane District Council in the North have also passed a motion on Parental Alienation and have more Councils that will table and pass this motion in the near future.

This Page will record any Politician’s or Political Party’s reply to the Declaration to recognise and legislate against Parental Alienation. If you are a member of a political organisation and do not see their political interests registered here please post them to us or message us so that we can publicise your support here
